• No registration fee: There is no registration fee for attending the conference. The event organisers covers the cost of breakfast and lunch both days, a conference dinner on Wednesday evening and snacks and coffee during the conference for all registered participants. 
• Target audience: The conference is open to Arctic state representatives and delegations, government officials working with health-related issues (from the Arctic states), representatives from the Permanent Participants of the Arctic Council, healthcare specialists and professionals, researchers and scientists focusing on Arctic areas and health-related issues, research institutions, representatives from HelseNord and representatives from the Red Cross Movement in the Arctic states. The conference is open to others with an interest in health preparedness in the Arctic in general on a first-come-first-served-basis. 
• Invitations: If you have not received an invitation, but would like to participate at the conference or receive more information, please contact the project organisers with information about your organisation/occupation and interest in the conference (e-mail: ingrid.dybvig@redcross.no). 
• Spots available: We have a flexible conference venue, with spots available for around 60 participants, with the possibility of expanding if there is a high interest. Spots are allocated on a first come-first served basis, with priority given to the target audience as outlined above. 
• Accommodation: Hotel rooms are available at Scandic Solli, where the conference takes place. For participants travelling from far away, hotel accommodation is available from Tuesday evening. Participants that require accommodation, are asked to register this in the registration form. The event organisers will notify the hotel about all participants requiring accommodation. Please note: Participants are required to cover the cost of accommodation and travel to and from the conference, and asked to pay for accommodation directly to the hotel at the time of departure. Hotel room rates are approximately 2 000,- NOK (168 EUR) per night (prices may be adjusted slightly towards the day of the event). More information about the hotel (location, check-in times, parking etc. can be found on the hotel's website). The event organisers will cover all meals (breakfast and lunch Wednesday and Thursday, dinner Wednesday evening) for all participants. 
• For contributors and speakers: The event organiseres will cover accommodation and travel expenses for speakers at the conference, based on individual agreements. Contributors/speakers are asked to register their participation if they plan to be present at the conference as a general participant in addition to being a contributor.
